This book, Popular Woodworking's Arts & Crafts Furniture Projects (2008), is a nice expansion of the PW's previous title, Authentic A & C Furniture Projects (2000). If you're looking for an easy to follow Arts & Crafts furniture book, this one fits the bill pretty well. This title has 26 projects; These projects use modern tools/techniques, great for building A & C furniture to fill your bungalow. Of the 22 projects from the 2000 book, seven projects are included in the 2008 book, nine are on the bonus cd, and six are omitted. Missing projects are: Spindle side table, Octagonal Taboret, Bungalow mailbox, Heirloom cradle, Two Frames, and the Garden storage bench. All the articles include materials lists, construction techniques, and sources for supplies. The bonus disc includes ten articles on techniques, as well as 10 project plans, all are PDFs, so they print well. This book is a worthy addition to the home craftsman's library.

Would rate this as a five except for two things. 1. Although extra material is advertised as available on a bonus CD, I can find no means by which I can obtain or otherwise gain access to this from the Kindle version of the book. 2. The material cut lists for the projects are almost unreadably small in the kindle version. As a lesser issue, I would have liked a few more pictures of some of the complex pieces during assembly.

It's O.K., but a little thin on content. The CD is a nice touch, but the coverage of this FAMOUS furniture style is thinly represented.

Very nice book. Nice variety of projects. All color photos. Lots of detail in the drawings and many 'tips and tricks' to help with your projects. A valuable addition to my arts and crafts library.

This book has so many great ideas for furniture. I don't know where to start. I love the instructions. I am a beginner but I think even I can create nice furniture.

If you like Greene and Greene this is a must have.Have shared this with my woodworking friends and they like it a lot. We will be making several projects from here as I fill my house with Arts & Crafts style furniture.

My 8 year old Daughter loves these books

This collection is great! I love the concept of this book because when I get to choose the way that the book will take me, it makes me feel like I am there. Another reason why I like this concept is that sometimes its hard to decide which way to go, so I can always go back and read what would have happened if I made a different decision.... something I can't always do in life! I really liked getting four books in this set and I will definitely read more of the You say Which way books! Highly recommended.

These "You Say Which Way" stories put you, the reader, right into the driving seat, as you get to choose your own adventure by selecting different path options at numerous points in each story. (Of course, the added advantage to this is that you can then go back and pick different options to experience a different adventure entirely.) I love the diversity of story lines that these books offer, and feel that each new book seems to get even better than the last one. This set is a great example of work by these talented authors. (And if you decide to go hunting for fossils then just watch out you don't get eaten by a T-rex!)Highly Recommended.

The idea of becoming a central character in the story brings a new and intriguing dimension to reading novels. This book is great value with four different scenarios to immerse yourself in.In each story I tried to make wise decisions that would lead me to safety. Even when I managed to get home unharmed I loved going back to see where another decision might have taken me.With facts and information woven into the narrative these stories are also educational. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

I love of all of these interactive adventures, so it's nice to have them in a handy boxed set. If you love interactive, pick-a-path style books then you'd definitely love these. My dogs and I thoroughly enjoy going through each adventure. We spend a lot of time going back and seeing how a different path would have led us to different results. The result is we get to enjoy the same story in different ways!

I like how fun it is, getting to chose your own side of the story, being a daredevil or playing it safe. This is by a long shot the best you say which way book I've read. I would recommend this box set to others and I truly loved it. (:

This collaboration between New York Knick guard Glenn ("Doc") Rivers and award-winning YA author Bruce Brooks avoids those and other pitfalls, but early on it appears as if it's not going to avoid an even worse trap: metaphors. When Brooks, the author of The Moves Make the Man and other meaning-laden sports novels, launches into an elaborate analogy comparing Rivers' teammate John Starks to jazz saxophonist Sonny Rollins (whom most teens won't know from Sonny Bono), we immediately want to take cover, fearing that metaphors as large as hailstones will soon be littering the pages. Fortunately, Brooks quickly backs off, turning the proceedings largely over to Rivers, out of whose mouth pour not metaphors but insights: about the game and the players, about competition, about race, about maturity, and about what it feels like on the court. Listen: "The pressure's on, you've got maybe eighteen seconds, you look around and catch a couple of quick glances, you see a defensive guy's feet stutter a little, you sense his man move, you spin and pass, and skoosh!
