Comprehensive review of the entire field. Extremely broad scope, and many helpful tips for clinicians, yet lacking depth in a few key areas. I was disappointed in the paucity of neurofeedback articles. Great introduction for those new to the field and a helpful reference for all.

Well written, broad based scholarly review of biofeedback; history, theory, research and applications. Good introductory text (but not an easy read, be warned this is professional level, empirically based content). Also an excellent reference text for your clinical library.
One of the clearest books ever written about the subject.Dr. Schwartz is a great teacher.
I was very disappointed with this book when I realized I had just bought another book with no practical application for those wishing to learn more about biofeedback. This is NOT a how-to book, in any sense of the word.
Wasn't the book I was expecting, however, several chapters of good information. Just needed to weed through it for what I was needing. Book was in great condition.
Good... But not very user friendly.
